From Denmark…and that is all I know at this point...besides...see link at bottom for availability in the United States…

uni 8/0 = around 450g
veevus 8/0 = above 1kg
benecchi 10/0 = around 650g
veevus 10/0 = around 800g
benecchi 12/0 = around 450g
veevus 12/0 = around 530g
veevus 14/0 = around 520g

SOME additional details on the thread:
“Veevus 16/0 is a twisted unwaxed thread.
Veevus 14/0, 12/0 and 10/0 are all flat unwaxed threads. These threads are also useful if you wish to “split” the threads for spinning hackles.”
Here are two videos featuring some guys one might know, using the 10/0 product:

What a great find Tim – the breaking strength comparison is interesting and the dun, olive and Cahill cream look very useful.
Andy
PS – did you ever tie with any of the Tiemco 16/0?
PT,
Wondering if you would consider doing some product reviews? ie. Your favorite rod, reel, line etc.
thanks,
mike
Andy,
I have been using it exclusively on my smaller ties and really like it…as of today, I now have it in all six colors…and it was Monsieur Fauvet who clued me in on the Veevus…

Mike,
I like a whole range of different products…I really don’t have a FAVORITE anything…at one time or another, I use everything I have acquired, through the years… and enjoy going “retro” – a lot !!!

Tim,
Thanks for all the great ties and info. If I may, where do I buy veevus thread? The google info seems to be directing me towards the Finn person and I would prefer not to give him any of my money. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Bob,
I would direct any inquiries about the availability of VEEVUS threads directly to VEEVUS.dk – HERE:
http://veevus.dk/en/contact-us
or, they also have a page on Facebook where this question might be asked:
http://www.facebook.com/veevus
I am not aware of any distributors or shops in the US or UK who handle this product at present. Hopefully, this will change, in the near future, and one of the majors like Umpqua, Wapsi, Cascade Crest, Spirit River or Hareline will pick it up for distribution…in the meantime, if you are looking for an excellent 16/0 thread, go for Tiemco…I get mine at Bob Marriott’s, here in Los Angeles, CA:

Hope this helps !
Best,
