I am going to do a series of patterns on TroutLegend Hooks. I have about half a dozen each so that it will be possible to do as many flies for a grouping and still have enough for me to use after my kids lose the others. There are now fifteen patterns in the batch and that does it for now…All of the patterns using lead, have had super glue swept over the covering thread wraps… so that the flies last longer than me…

These types of Serendipities are just plain deadly. I would wager that over the course of a years fishing, this simple little pattern will take more Trout than any other Caddis type attractor in sizes #14 -#18…that is why my and Michael’s boxes are full of them… beaded, unbeaded, on curved and straight hooks…

This is a stillwater pattern developed by George Biggs of Jerome, ID. It has proven itself through the years and has been around before I ever cast my first fly…there are a number of variations on this pattern and the dyed iridescent peacock herl from Spirit River makes even more possible…I love the stuff
