Translucence is the affect demonstrated by  Midge Pupa. I am someone who loves to play around with different materials and substances and then, incorporate them into the patterns I tie…on what follows, I wanted to keep the bodies thin and the fly reflective. These guys are NOT original…I happened upon some great ties by Stefan Florea, who lives in New Zeland ( he is listed in “tiers I like” in the right hand column of this BLOG) before “THE BOOK” came out…Midges are present all year round and play a big part in my Winter fly fishing…heck, they play a big part in my Troutly pursuits through all seasons…on moving and stillwaters…
