Posts Tagged ‘Yella’ Fella’ Nymph Pattern’

So my son Michael calls me and informs me that he will be spending some time back East, around three weeks from now ( YIKES… MONDAY )…and, could I come up with some suggestions for Fly Fishing in the MA/CT area and OH YEAH…what patterns  should he take with him ??? I posted  a request for information over on the TROUT PREDATOR  SITE because Aaron Jasper and the fellows over there know a lot more about New England and the surrounding states than I do…I think the last time I fished in the Northeast was  in the streams above North Conway, NH in 1969…

My Caddis Emergers are going to go on hold while I tie up some bugs for Michael to try out in the Farmington River and specifically the challenging “Y”- pool on the Swift River…I don’t get a break from the kid (LOL)…so what follows ( as they are tied) are the flies that are flying East and a full report on Michael’s efforts , documented digitally by Aimee, will follow…
